How to link back

Keep this credit in the shared blog footer so it appears on the landing page, every article, and all category, tag, author and pagination pages. Your own publication name, domain and content remain yours.

Powered by nextjsblog.com

Use the supplied ProductCredit component or this equivalent HTML. The link must go directly to our website without a redirect. Adding rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored" is allowed if you prefer.

Full software license

The full license below governs the software permissions; the summary above is a guide. This project was published under MIT for about thirty minutes at launch and relicensed before anyone took a copy, so this license governs every copy. Third-party materials keep their own licenses.

Next.js Blog System Source-Available License 1.1 Copyright (c) 2026 Ketan. All rights reserved except as expressly granted below. Version 1.1, September 11, 2026. Supersedes Version 1.0 of the same date.

1. Definitions "Software" means the Next.js Blog System source code, components, templates, design assets and documentation supplied with this license, to the extent owned by Ketan (the "Licensor"), and any part of it. "You" means the individual or legal entity exercising rights under this license, including anyone acting on that entity's behalf. "Publication" means a website, blog or similar content property that You own or control and that publishes Your own or Your organization's content. "Derivative" means any work that copies, adapts, extends, translates or incorporates any part of the Software, including works that reproduce its structure, components or templates in another codebase or framework. "Product Distribution" means selling, licensing, renting, leasing, hosting, white-labeling or otherwise providing the Software or a Derivative to third parties as a product or service in its own right, whether standalone, bundled, as a template, starter kit, theme, component library, CMS, blog builder, plugin, hosted or managed publishing service, or software-as-a-service. "Public Blog Page" means any publicly accessible HTML page of a Publication that is rendered using the Software, including the blog landing page, each article, paginated listings, category, tag and author archives, and search pages.

2. Acceptance By copying, modifying, distributing or using the Software You accept this license. This is a source-available license, not an open-source license as defined by the Open Source Initiative. Rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Permitted use Subject to every condition below, You may inspect, copy, run, modify and deploy the Software to operate Publications, whether personal, organizational or commercial. You may earn revenue from Your Publication's content, advertising, subscriptions, sponsorships, goods or services. You may engage, or act as, a developer, agency or contractor to install, customize, host or maintain the Software for a specific client's Publication, provided the client accepts this license, the required attribution is preserved, and the fee is for the service performed rather than for the Software itself. You retain ownership of Your content and of Your original additions; those additions do not remove the conditions on the Software or on any Derivative.

4. Required attribution Every Public Blog Page must display a credit reading "Powered by nextjsblog.com" or "Built with Next.js Blog System" in its footer, hyperlinked directly to https://nextjsblog.com. The credit must be: (a) rendered in the page's HTML and visible without JavaScript, hovering, scrolling inside a nested container, opening a menu or signing in; (b) legible on mobile and desktop with contrast and size comparable to other footer text, and reachable by keyboard; (c) not hidden, clipped, obscured, removed after load, or styled to blend into the background. You may place the credit below the fold in the normal footer. You may choose to add rel="nofollow", rel="sponsored" or rel="ugc" to the link; the Licensor does not require or prohibit link qualifiers. The link must point to https://nextjsblog.com without passing through a redirect, interstitial or tracking service that alters the destination. The supplied ProductCredit component satisfies these requirements; an equivalent implementation is allowed. Attribution is not required for private development, non-public previews, non-HTML outputs such as feeds and APIs, or pages of a host website that are not rendered by the Software.

5. No Product Distribution You may not engage in Product Distribution of the Software or any Derivative. In particular You may not sell it, offer it as a paid or free template, theme, starter kit or component library, provide it as a hosted or managed blogging or publishing service, embed it in a commercial product you distribute, or copy or adapt it into a competing product. Changing its name, adding features, or displaying attribution does not permit any of these. This section does not restrict the Publication use and service work permitted by section 3.

6. Sharing copies and modifications You may share source copies and modifications free of charge for uses this license permits, provided You include this entire license and all copyright and attribution notices, clearly mark Your modifications, and impose no terms that remove or weaken these conditions. Each recipient receives their permissions directly from the Licensor under this license. You must not present the Software or the Licensor's work as Your own original creation or imply the Licensor's endorsement. You may accurately describe Your own additions and brand Your Publication while keeping the required attribution.

7. Trademarks "nextjsblog.com", "Next.js Blog System" and associated logos are marks of the Licensor. This license grants no trademark rights except the right to display the attribution in section 4 and to make truthful references to the Software. "Next.js" is a trademark of Vercel, Inc.; nothing here grants rights in it.

8. Contributions If You submit code, documentation or other material to the Licensor's repository for inclusion in the Software, You grant the Licensor a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute and sublicense that contribution as part of the Software under this license and any future license the Licensor adopts. You confirm You have the right to grant it.

9. License history The Software was first published under the MIT License on September 11, 2026. Within approximately thirty minutes of that publication, and before any copy was cloned, forked, downloaded or used by anyone other than the Licensor to the Licensor's knowledge, the Licensor replaced the MIT License with this license. Every version of the Software from that point is distributed only under this license, and this license governs all copies. The Licensor may publish revised versions of this license; each revision applies to copies distributed with it.

10. Third-party materials Third-party dependencies and separately licensed materials retain their own licenses, which this license does not modify. Nothing here restricts independently created work that copies no protected material from the Software.

11. Separate permission and termination Uses outside these permissions, including attribution removal or Product Distribution, require a separate written agreement from the Licensor. Contact the Licensor through https://nextjsblog.com. Silence, an attribution link, or the passage of time does not create an exception. Your rights under this license terminate automatically on breach. On termination You must stop using and distributing the Software and any Derivative, except that a breach limited to section 4 is cured, and rights are restored, if You bring every Public Blog Page into compliance within fourteen days of notice. Sections 7 to 14 survive termination.

12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE LICENSOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE SOFTWARE OR ITS USE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. Nothing in this license excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Governing law and disputes This license is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it, without prejudice to the Licensor's right to seek injunctive relief or enforce intellectual property rights in any jurisdiction where the Software is used.

14. General This license is the entire agreement about the Software and replaces any prior understanding. If a provision is unenforceable, it is limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder continues to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this license without the Licensor's written consent; the Licensor may assign it freely. Headings are for convenience only.
